Any tips for in the handlebars wiring?

I will need to pull the right switch wiring back in place after I solder the kill switch back in place, but this wiring bundle is not moving at all. Do not want to pull it out because it doesn't look easy to get back in. Any tips? I sprayed WD40 down the handlebars, but no go.

Heating the wire bundle...gently...will make it more pliable. Armor-all will make it slippery enough to pull through, using an improvised fish tape.

I've just done this.... Basically just pull, sure put some lube down there, wiggle a bit. But it's the wire covering, the grey stuff that's old and stiff. I've cut mine off and will heat shrink more on before replacing back into the bars.

Yep, muscle is what it needs. Luckily I only need to pull back flush to mount switch cover, but still a challenge.

Replacing the original, now arthritic, sheathing is best. Still, heat will make it more pliable, for a time...hopefully long enough for you to pull the leads where they need to be.
