I pulled the pan off this (2016 Chrysler 200) transmission at work and this is what I found…what you see in pic is exactly the way it was as you see in pics…lol. In 35+ years of rebuilding transmissions I’ve never seen anything like this..a snap ring blew out and started carving metal that sucked it’s self up into the filter..the real funny thing is the car still moved and the customer came in wanting a fluid change…lol. The car neutraled out when it changed into 3rd gear so we knew there was a big problem but did not except to see this…just thought I’d post pics as some of you might get a kick out of seeing this…I know I did!!!
