Great.
Kinda weird the site puts on wrong pictures.
I will try and find a slotted one.
They are a great company and offer lots of good info and parts, but keep in mind they ARE a reproduction parts company as well. And Honda has always given reproduction companies grief. Hence why some or most reproduced parts have been changed in some form or another as to not infringe on patents. Keep the lawyers happy ya know.

Honda did sell a shield that has holes and no slots and would be fine/correct for the k1 it was called the updated version back in the day early/mid 2000’s it looks like the aftermarket versions of today’s cheapie pipes. It would be hard to tell the difference, I never bought one.

Yep you can’t believe every pic you see on the internet but you can take a few of the guys on this forums word for it. Plus you can google the parts manual / owners manual for what ever year bike you are trying to figure out and they will tell you the correct part number for the period piece. Then just google the part number.

Check out an old post using the search feature here from Oct 1st 2009.

''Muffler guard Slots or circles''. Explains a bunch for the folks that are new to the game of K1 CT70 replacement O.E.M. Honda muffler parts.
Good read. Circles are a valid acceptable replacement. I prefer slots though....
