Yup. The first option is looking better and better. But I will still keep this around. Never know what pops up in the future.

For what it's worth...

If it's within 5% and on the generous side, I'd call the project a success and leave it at that.

If it's on the stingy side, or that last bit of accuracy is a mental itch, I'd look for a shorter front tire. Hint: Heidenau offers a 120/70-10 in K61 flavor, maybe the best road available in 10".

If accuracy, flexibility...for when your fave tire becomes NLA I'd go electronic programmable. Hint: I'm really old school and dislike digital gauges, but opted for that as the solution.

That said it doesn't really matter what anyone else chooses...including "yours truly". The "correct answer" is...whatever you say it is. It's your bike.:red70:

I have to run a 130/90-10 to get it where I want it. With that setup I’m still reading fast but only about 2.5%. It’s something I can live with. My hope was to slow it down so I could run 120/90-10. I’ll keep looking and hope one day I can run the tires I prefer.
