My flag is flying in the driving rain here in Nebraska today! Wind and rain are going to dampen the BBQ activities today. Might have to drink beer in the garage and "play" with the CT's. I only have 4 bikes, a frame and 4 boxes of parts to go through. These little bikes multiply like freaking rabbits!! LOL

You bring up a great point. Many flag flyers don't know the Half Mast (Half Staff) schedule.
When to Fly Your Flag - When to Fly the Flag at Half Staff
The President can also order flags to half mast as well due to a death or special event.


Additionally, the American Flag should not be flown in "inclement weather" such as a "driving rain storm". Another fact that some flyers overlook is the American Flag should not be flown at night unless spot lighted.

The other day I was headed to work (night shift) and they said on the radio our current temp was 110° with 2% humidity. That night while checking something that's about 10 miles from work, I got rained on! :39:
