Incredible growing ad.

How big are the ads on lilHonda gonna get??

I realize that we have to have ads...but, my lord! Do we have to trip over them.

The ad at the top of the page...right between the buttons, and the info that I want to see, keeps getting bigger, and moving more...it's a nuisance. It would be much better to the side, or BOTTOM of the page.

Same here, kirbs, on occasion I get a full-page FleaBay Ad that covers the whole page I'm trying to read or follow. I also have the multiple eBay ads sandwiched in between two posts on a page. Like you said...pita

Here's a good one. Blurs out your WHOLE screen, and just says "Ad"
FnBS!

I can hardly open a topic without closing a pop up.
+1 here, it's getting to be quite annoying when you have to keep closing a pop up just to read a thread...

Why can't something be done about this unwelcome intrusion? I'm not seeing FleaBay and Emu Temu listed as lilHonda sponsors

Sorry for the delayed response, I've been tracking down this issue. Turns out AdSense auto ads was recently enabled as part of a Google experiment. This was causing the doubling up of ads and also causing those popup ads immediately after clicking around on the site.

Things should be back to normal with the traditional 2-3 ad locations on the main forum pages. Please let me know if you are seeing things differently from your end.

I have considered offering an ad free experience for LH 'Team' members that donate so much monthly or yearly but never got around to it and honestly, I'm not sure that there would be enough interest?

Thank you for the reply. I understand it must be a time consuming job to administrate all this. And I certainly couldn't do it.
I think it's a great forum sans the Ads...It's almost scary how they take over.
I for one would have no problem with an ad free donation driven site, but I'm sure some may not be so interested.
Hopefully the solution you mentioned above will add some relief to the site for now.
Happy riding. !!

I’m interested in an ad-free experience. What’s this site’s traffic history been like since 2005 or whenever you started it? What year or season has been the busiest period?

I'm on it now, and its awesome. Not one pop up or even an Ad. !! The only thing negative, is that it's in dark mode, but I may be able to change that in my settings somewhere. Thanks again for the tip...!

You are welcome. You can turn off the dark mode. Scroll to the bottom of any page and select default style light
