Just wondering what exhaust you guys are going with on the lifan engines? I'm ready to get one and was wondering what system looks and performs the best. I personnaly like the upswept look. Thanks again

No..I got the pic from Beatrice Cycle "customer pics"! Mine is the Light blue TrailRyder in the picture. But, If I had to replace it and I had the money, I might look into something like this one. From DAX pictures in Europe on the internet, I did take notice that this type of exhaust system is very popular!

Here is a Kitaco Upsweep exhaust , for $175.00 , removable end baffle. Very satisfied up to now. Not very good if you are into trail riding, but I use mine only for street use.

I have the R&L exhaust system on one of my bikes, I purchased it from Dratv, the system is very light with a beautiful chrome finish on the header pipe and the can is polished. Without the quiet insert installed the system is quite loud for my personal taste so I keep the insert in. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's impossible to have a passenger on the back of the bike without burning themselves because the exhaust can gets in the way, I think the up swept systems might be better for passenger use, I dunno...

Here's an old (and lousy) pic..

Ebay has a bunch of exhaust systems under honda/pitbikes, would any of the ones that fit say a xr70 or any other generic pit bike work? Are most of the mating flanges the same or different? Anyone?

Those are the issues that seperate one rider from another. There are numerous ways around the noise issue but as far as carrying a passenger there are few options. Most aftermarket exhausts conflict with the buddy pegs and the ones that don't tend to get very hot. Since most of us who carry passengers are carrying fragile cargo (wife or kids) that's a deal-breaker. The only aftermarket pipe that allows a passenger and stays cool (relatively speaking, it still reaches around 120 degrees) is the Kitaco stainless up-pipe. It's a beautifully made exhaust but pricewise it's not for the faint-of-heart. Other than that pipe or a stocker, it's custom fabrication time unless you ride strictly solo.
