So I just got a CL175 and put new plugs, new battery, new fuel lines and it fired right up.
Now the plugs I got were DR8HA (resistor) instead of the recommended D8HA. The guy at the shop said it wouldnt matter if it was a resistor plug or not. So I got them.
Then I was out riding this morning, rode for about 30 mins no problem. Parked it went inside to get a drink and came back out and the bike had a harder time starting. But I got it going after a few tries with the electric starter. Rode again for a few more minutes, and during this time I was messing with the throttle cable nuts but the handlebars. Then it started to bog down. And now I cant get it started. It has very low to no spark. I tried the plug grounded to the fin on a ct70 and it had a very very strong spark so it is not the spark plug. This happens on both plugs.
So I have the bike on a battery tender right now trying to see if it is because it has a low charge on the battery which I would have a hard time believing since the battery is a new sealed battery. But could the points be bad now? Again it ran really strong and I was buzzing around, bike responded well to throttle etc. Then it has a little harder time starting, then I messed with the throttle cable by the twist throttle and all of the sudden the bike starts to bog down and now low to no spark.
Thanks for the advice and suggestions.
