You did an incredible restoration on that car Grant...I have shown your email pics to a couple of my dad's vette buddies and they were very impressed with it...The fact that you made Hot Rod is a huge honor and you deserved it.

Thanks everyone, That was pre-yellow days..lol I painted that car in a one car garage with 69 Corvette red lac. (Back when you could buy Lac.) First car I ever painted...I must have painted that car at least 3 times, I had built the turbocharged 396 to put in a old Ford pick-up I had, came across this striped and stolen vette, couldn't aford to do both cut up my turbo setup and fit it in the old vette. It had a muncie 4 speed with 9" ford rear. I bought the chrome rollbar at the Pomona swapmeet one Sunday and must have carried it for a mile back to my truck. Sold it in 82' It was a fun car.

Man That brings back memories!! We had a '62 Vette from '73-'81 used as a drag race only car, but it wasn't cut up, still had full interior, factory hardtop, etc., ran a LT1 with a 4speed, cragars, 9inch rear. I'll try and post some pics, Traded that car for the Roadster I have now.I love my roadster but I sure as hell would rather have that Vette back!
