Ok guys, here you go. Another restore that's is getting close to being done. I haven't finished some things like, the clutch cable (needs to be gray) and the hubs and rims are not polished/chromed yet, the fork leg needs to be changed, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I'm ready to finish this project so I can get to the Honda Nice project that's been put on hold. Give me your opinions and suggestions. I have lots of extra parts (ie, nuts, bolts, cables, levers, knobs, etc.). This bike is going on the auction block or put away in storage, haven't decided as of yet. Thanks to everyone for your help.

Freaked me out. Does look just like my green paint scheme. I like it a lot. Only thing I am curious about is the front fork legs look like they are too far up into the fork legs.

Front end completely rebuilt by motorcycle race shop. New springs, seals, everything. I'll take a look. Thanks, that's what I'm after. I know this, it rides better than any other CT70 (HKO, KO) that I've ever been on. The shop put some stiffer racing springs in it. Thanks

Yep, I think both of you are correct. I will call the race shop tomorrow and find out, they may have put stiffer in, but shorter also by the looks of things. That's why I'm asking all you "pros", I never would have caught it. Thanks once again!

Haha...if that was all that showed on the lower fork legs, nobody would ever get them rechromed! It does indeed seem like the springs are too short. It's the only thing that could really cause it.

No, that's the left one, it has the vertical brake cable holder and is for a K1 or K2 or later. Seems like the springs are about 2" to short and are allowing the fork tube and everything to move downward. I didn't notice anything while riding since the shop put in stiffer springs, like I said, it rides better than any other I've ridden with the exception of oil filled forks.

Just an update for you guys that responded to my posting of the bike and the first looks. If you'll remember, the front end sat "low" on the front axles and it was brought to my attention after posting the pics. Well, here's the result, the lower front end fork legs that I got from my buddy who has lots of new OEM parts got me fork legs for a 50. What that means is the front fork legs on a 50 are 2.75" shorter than the CT70 HKO lowers. Problem corrected, new OEM CT70 lowers are on and problem solved. For all that have e-mailed me, there's the answer.
