Ask one of the 58 million Americans with no health care how they feel about universal health care

I do hear a lot of people complaining about healthcare no doubt. Most of it has to do with the ridiculous rising cost and the insurers just ripping people off plain and simple.

The system is definitely broken here.

However our government has done a terrible job in running any social programs and years of history prove this to be factual.

I don't know how Canada prevents ramped corruption is the system but I would sure like to learn more on this particular issue.

Likewise it is intersting to learn the differences in the American system

The way I see it, Americans who can afford good quality health care or insurance probably get better care than any Canadian

Poor or unemployed Americans get basically nothing

All Canadians get something mediocre

Canadians pay higher taxes, Americans pay lower taxes but pay insurance costs

A complicated equation, where does the line get drawn to benefit the whole?

No right answer, and depending on which demographic you fit within, your opinion would be skewed

I personally would benefit greatly from private health care and lower taxes, as I am in the higher bracket of incomes

That said I didn't always have a good income, I know what it is like to be poor and rely on a system to help me out

I think the period between let's 55 and 65 is the most worrisome for many Americans. That is if Medicare stays solvent. If not most will be really screwed unless the dishonest pigs that own an run insurance companies are rained in.
