Testing Nice stator?

Not getting any fire to the plug. Changed out the coil and still no fire.

Put a meter on the stator while kicking it over and don't seem to be getting power from it.

Anybody know the proper way of testing it?

The Nice uses Honda's "5-wire" CDI system.

STATOR TEST, CDI generator:
Unplug the CDI module.
Adjust your Voltmeter to measure AC Volts.
Connect one probe to the engine block, on clean metal (ground the probe).
Connect the other probe to the CDI connector Black/Red wire.
Kick start or spin the engine: you should measure at least 20 Volts AC, hopefully more, depends on your Volt meter.

No Volts? Disconnect the engine to chassis plug.

No Volts? The part of the stator that generates AC power for the CDI appears to be defective.
