Started to rain earlier, my excuse for not doing any trim painting today, even though the trim is all inside the house, LOL. Meh, I have about an hour or two of painting left, and all week to do it, so "FUHGEDDABOUTIT!!!" Think I'll crack a cold stubby and post some pics I took yesterday and today. Ah, yes, the bachelor life... I might hafta pay some gal to nag at me for an hour or so, just to remind myself how good I have it here in this castle under the tall pines. The gal can look like the latest Penthouse Pet, but once her hour is up, she's outta here, LOL. "TIME FOR YOU TO GO, DARLIN'... THANKS FOR THE MAMMARIES!!!" :4:
Check out these pics of the feeders I put up the other day, these White Mountain hummers are crafty, the nanosecond they see ya move they're off like NASCAR drivers, 10-4? The feeders are right outside the glass window panels, you understand, so the birds can see in as well as I can see out... I noticed that some birds split before I could bring the camera to bear, LOL. I'll hafta build duck blinds for each room, maybe buy a ghillie suit, or just rig the Hero cam and edit out the footage with no hummers. Meh, too much trouble, and I haven't even edited my birthday ride footage yet... :30:
Ms. Jingle Belle no longer gets excited by the hummers, she has figured out she can't do anything to 'em through the glass, aye? I snapped a few pics of her in her new blasé mood, nonchalantly ignoring the hummers even though they're mere feet away, LOL. Crackhead, now, he's not as smart as Jingle Belle. so he still gets worked up whenever a hummer appears... I'll try to catch him on the windowsill when a hummer is right outside the glass, so far the hummers have seen me every time I reach for the camera, and they're off like a shot every time. Maybe the Hero cam is the way to go, being so small and unobtrusive... :16:
That stone eagle is a Show Low landmark situated at the west end of town, I think it's BAD@$$, and l even snapped a photo with a big rig in the background, WOOHOO!!! Doesn't take much to excite us rednecks, we're not difficult to please, LOL. I like that mountain lion carving or sculpture, whatever the heck it is, and the smaller wooden eagle is rad too... one of these days, when the owner is out front, I'll ask him if I can snap a few pics, as long as I leave out the address numbers, yeah? Unlike city dwellers, most folks up here are pretty friendly, so he'll likely let me take a few pics. :41:
Same goes for the neighbor with the classic old tractor out front, that thing makes a statement, LOL. Don't know if y'all can tell from these pics, but his house is literally COVERED with cool stuff, old iron tools and wheels and whatnot... again, when I see this guy out front, I'll ask him if I can snap a pic or two, leaving out the address numbers. Seems friendly enough, I've waved when passing before... and I reckon only a cool hand would have all that iron crap on his wall, LOL. WTF, I'll offer him a beer or two in return for the favor, 10??? Alright, monkeybiking heroes & crusty mini demons o' dirt, here we go:
Okay, time for this kid to grab a cold stubby, ain't no painting happening today, LOL. WTF, I'm the boss of this whole home rehab number, so the worst that can happen is I fire myself, tell the boss to go f#% himself, then grab a cold beer out of the fridge, 10-4??? Model employee??? I think not, LOL. Meh, I'll say the same thing I say to OLD CT after he botches some repair work: "BOY, YER FIRED!!!" :19: One of these days, I'll get the home rehab done... probably the same day I die, LOL.
