Thinking about a new seat

With the talk about seats on a couple of threads I have been thinking about getting a new one and putting mine away for safe keeping. I did paint it and put on new foam,bumpers and a cover in the past but with the prices I have seen lately for parts, it's probably worth more than I paid for the whole bike! Hate to have something happen to it. Everyone but CHP is sold out at the moment but I'll keep my eye out unless someone has a recommendation.

I only buy CHP seats. I like them the best.

I just bought one of the popular versions from eBay...it's a bit too stiff for me...firm foam. I want to get one from CHP too...so I can compare them...form a opinion, of my very own lol. The only complaint that I've ever heard about CHPs seats, is their name stamped into the pan. I guess I don't particularly like that either. But if it's a great seat, I could definitely live with the stamp.

I'm a lightweight rider and MUCH prefer the original foam. The repop seats kill my arse after about 1/2 an hour of just pavement ridding. I'd say, if you weigh past 170, then get one for sure. I've also wanted to take the repop, take the cover off, and cut out the holes in the foam like the originals, then try it out.
