Thinking about selling my 70

Somebody offered me $275 cash for my clapped out 1970 CT70 K0. Is that a fair price? It runs but not well, paint pristine on one side the other side is faded.

The bike has sat untouched for 3 years. Am I getting what I can out of the sale or more than what it's worth?

An original 1970 K0 in that running condition is worth more than $275.

If the engine matches the frame it is worth at least $500 because they are the Nineteen seventy model and that is considered the first Trail 70 and arguably the most collectable.

That's FIVE units apart! That would be considered a Matching Engine & Frame 1970 K0 Trail bike and it is highly sought after.

That color is also the popular color and it runs! If you held on to it, it will only increase in value.

It's difficult to appraise the exact value but it is way more than $275! ;)

Looks like it's mostly complete & straight, missing the Honda exhaust & kickstart arm, TL & plug guard. Those are all still available, new. If the seat pan is intact, or at least repairable, the originals seat can be restored. Since the bikes runs, I'd be looking for more like $800...maybe up to $1100, depending upon the mileage and if it runs well. If it's titled, add $250-300. The paint, seat cover and bandaged HL shell are fugly, making the bike look worse than it probably is. Unless there are nasty surprises awaiting discovery, I'd say that this machine has "good bones", i.e excellent raw material for a restoration.

Not knowing if the rear shock mount is bent and going by 2 so so pics. Wondering why the rear fender is bent upward. Tell them they can have it for $600. They probably won't buy it but that's fair for both parties.
