Just checking in to see who will be coming out to Mid Ohio Vintage Days next week. I'll be there with two bikes.

We usually park our truck and enclosed trailer next to the top of the hill fence line, right on the other side of Lee's Mini Trail setup. I won't be selling anything this year, but will be there to comb the swap meet and screw around to find deals on stuff Im looking for.

I will be there on friday and sat.

The Friday crowd was a little smaller this year and for once the weather wasn't ideal for heatstroke...a good combo. Unfortunately, all the recent rain turned the swap meet area into "mud-Ohio", the worst it's been in the 16 years I've been attending. A LOT of longtime vendors were conspicuous by their absence, a trend that began a few years ago when the management got a little too greedy. There were lots of CT70s & Z50s, at least 50-75 of them and at least two dozen that were being ridden around...through the deep mud. Gonna be a lot of scrubbing going on when folks return home. The supply of CT parts has gotten thin, the Z50 stuff even more so, compared to previous years. Pretty easy to see why prices have been increasing.

IDK, maybe Saturday & Sunday will bring some changes...like more vendors & bigger crowds. I wouldn't count on the former, though.

You are right buddy. Gave up my vender spots next to Northeast Vintage Cycle a couple of years. Like anything, the best days are long past for Mid-Ohio. Now just a sea of rusty junk on blue tarps. Couple of my friends went this year and vowed never to return. AMA have ruined it like their racing events.
