I love my TW200. My friend has a Honda XR230 and it's not as comfortable to ride. It's taller and the seat sucks. He wishes he would have bought a TW200.

Did not know you already had this model, cool!:)
I do like the size of the bike and the engine on this one; around 200cc is perfect for me and my cruising ways!

Mine's a 2004. Yamaha doesn't bother changing much on these so mine's essentially the same as a new one.
The price is the only difference. I paid $2500 for mine, 4 years ago. They hold their resale value pretty well.
I like exploring the back roads on mine. If I need to get on the black top, it'll run 55 mph, no problem.

It's a great lookin bike and 200cc should be enough. But it won't replace a 55mph CT70...you'll still have that bug.

I don't particularly like their paint scheme/color combos. Nothing that a spray gun can't fix. Bike looks good otherwise and that displacement would haul my butt just fine.

IDK, I kinda like the paint scheme, looks Mountain style! Maybe would paint the engine guard to match...lol:)

I would change the tires to 70/ 30.Tires Seventy percent paved roads thirty percent the other.but the days of the $2500 dual sports seems to have faded away everything is $4- 5K, it seems.o_O

I have a CRF150f that is street titled and setup as a dual sport. It is completely regeared and the engine was updated to be a CRF230 motor. Has the 230 crank, head, cylinder, piston but the original transmission. I purchased it with the street title and engine done, and I just did the needful to add lights, signals, speedo, dual sport tires, and a full wave electrical setup. It's awesome and I can cruise all day long at 55mph and absolutely tear up any backroad or trail as well. I'd rather ride a CT on the street, but there's no doubt this is way better than using a CT as a dual sport.

It's funny how we evolve. 30 years ago I was riding 1200's & 1300's. Now, in my 60's, I'm riding the small bikes I started out on. I've come full circle.

I only did half a circle. Started with a Pan Head and got smaller.

    I have a TWW-200.
I used a triple crown from a Yamaha BW and laced up a rim from a Suzuki VanVan to a front TW-200 hub, added some axle spacers and fabbed up a disc cliper mount, and Voila, two wide wheels. IMG_9374.jpg It's my wife's ride when we all go riding, and the go to grocery grabber/errand ride for me and our youngest.
So great to run around on, but 55 with a good gearing is max.
I've tried several front fender solutions and haven't settled yet.

Nice bike, Mike. I can't get my wife to watch the same TV programs, let alone do anything I like.

Does it involve dishes and a vacuum cleaner?

We have 3 sons, 20-24-26. She home schooled them all the way to college. She will do anything to keep up and stay involved with the boys. 2 years ago we rented dual sports in Peru and rode around the Andes Mountains for a week. The boys and I got DR650s, She rode an CRF250L. She kept up on the bike, including some real "Bolivian Death Road" sections, and then hiked Machu Pichu and climbed La Montana with us.
Sometimes we have trouble keeping up with her.

So Mike,,,,,,,,,,,,I just mentioned your story about the Peru trip to my wife and said. "Imagine doing something like that." Her response was an emphatic No!

Maybe she'd go for something a little less adventuresome like Miami.
