Yes, I remember saving all my pennies up to buy one at the corner store and fly it one time to self destruction! :102:
I think it'd be best to fly one off the South Rim of the Grand Canyon... get more flight time before the big crash, LOL. Salt River Canyon would work too, that's just down the road and it's pretty impressive. Some motorcyclist just fell to his death there a couple of weeks ago, not in the way you'd think, riding over the edge, but parking his bike and walking to the rim. I reckon he was trying to get a selfie, or maybe just a straight pic, and he wandered too close to the edge. The Sheriffs had to use a drone to locate his body 425' down the cliff... sheer cliffs and headwalls in Salt River Canyon, it's a bad@$$ venue. :13:
Last day of painting the two bathrooms, been a long week of rolling and cutting in, but they're looking good and I'll be glad when they're done. I can reclaim my throne rooms by clearing all that newspaper, brown shipping paper, blue tape, etc., outta there, along with the plastic bags covering fixtures and thrones, 10-4? Put the cat litter boxes back where they belong, instead of on tarps in adjoining rooms. Use my bathtub again... I missed that tub this week, it's a great tub for taking a hot bath, LOL. Manana, a day of rest, good food, beer and football, WOOHOO!!! Painting is VERBOTEN!!! :41:
Think I'll run to Tractor Supply Co. and see about buying a state flag decorative license plate, saw one yesterday on a big ol' Dodge and it looked good. The owner walked out and I asked him where he bought the plate, and he said TSC, which isn't too far down White Mountain Boulevard. I don't hafta start painting till about noon, I don't have much left, just the final cutting in with the Purdy brush, hitting all the corners and areas I couldn't reach with the roller. A couple hours of brush work and it's all done... unless I put additional coats on those goddam louvered doors. :43:
Hey, my new pit bike might arrive today, that Thumpstar TSX 125 LE-M with the inverted Marzocchi forks and rear monoshock... 12" wheel in back, 14" up front. Should be a fun bike to ride on these trails here in the White Mtns. Once I'm done with this home rehab work, I'll hafta ask one of these gorgeous women in town to go for a ride... I see hot women every time I run to town, but I've been on a mission to complete this rehab work before I start having fun. Friendly gals too, most of 'em... not all stuck up like those sand crabs in Coronado, LOL. :30:
WELL, TIME TO GET CLEANED UP AND RUN TO TRACTOR SUPPLY CO., I'D LIKE TO BAG ONE OF THOSE PLATES FOR THE FRONT END OF THE CAMRY... AZ ONLY ISSUES A REAR PLATE, SO IT'S FULLY LEGAL TO SLAP A RISING SUN PLATE ON THE RIG'S FRONT END.
