Correct paint help for a K1 Z50

Hello Group,

I'm restoring a K1 Z50 from a bunch of boxes. It's coming along, but I can't find out if the battery box is black or bike color. Mine came glass beaded. Bike is yellow

Definitely not body color. Would have been either black, or clear zinc.
