Those are the Canadian - made 1984 or 85 CT70's. What year does it read on the steering tube?
And yes...you should buy. :)

Well I still haven't gone to see the bikes... I was suppose to go a couple of weekends ago and things didn't work out. I asked the seller if he would dropp the price a bit but he said no he's doing me a favor selling them both for 800.00... what do you guys think? I'm just wondering how much money I'll need to spend to get these bikes working properly again?

I dunno, looks like there could easily be $800 worth between the two of them...maybe more.

The K3 looks to be mostly complete; wheel restoration is easy enough. The toughest pieces to deals with will be the AWOL & damaged turn signal-related items, including the mutha of all restoration projects - the two-piece/chromed headlight ears.

Pretty sure the other is an `84. `83 decal is a solid stripe, with "HONDA" outlined in red & white. `85 decal is gray & white, `86 is red white & blue, `87 is black, light blue & white. There's a lot missing, and `80-`82 parts are closest you're likely to find...even those are kinda scarce. Still, It'd be a great base for a restomod or custom. And, the "novelty"/uniqueness factor of owning a "non-existant" model from the `83-`90 period would be pretty cool, on its own.

My friend from work told me in the spring that his neighbor had 3 or 4 mini bikes in his barn. He said he would take me to see them since the neighbor was interested in selling. Well we finally have a plan to go for a look on Wednesday. Kinda fired up to see what he has. My friend said... he thinks... maybe... they are CT70's, but he's not sure. (he was lookin at pics of ct's and z50's) He had just seen them briefly. The suspense is killin me!

I looked at the bikes today, been waiting to see them since probably May. He has a gold 11/69 K0 ct70. Speedo shows low miles but most likely doesn't work. Missing decals and a few odds and ends, looks kinda rough at first glance but is actually not too bad. The next is a nice orange K3. It has a chrome K0 style pipe on it and a K1 style guard hangin from it. Everything else looks to be there and in good condition. 1 fork ear is bent, rear signal bracket slightly bent, chrome has very slight pitting, 3200 miles I think, paint looks great under the dirt and in the corner of a dark barn, tool kit is there, seat is nice, I didn't see any rust at all under the seat. The last is a 90's bike with 127 miles. Same dirt and all, looks kinda rough leanin against the barn wall but it's not, very nice bike. They have all been in storage for years and moved around from here to there. He says he has titles and keys for all 3, and all the paperwork for the 9---2, I think it is. He wants $2000, I offered $1500.

That sounds like a excellent buy even at $2000 it's still a good price. Where are you located? I'll buy one from you if you're not too far and willing to sell one.

I agree it is a good price. I need to get them all out into the light to see exactly what's there. I did see enough today with a quick look with a flashlight to know I want them. The 90's bike is a keeper and I have been after a K3 for a while now, although I wanted a blue one. I will likely be lookin to sell the K0. I'm in Michigan, 48423. I'll be surprised if he does come up with titles for all three, but he sounded pretty sure of himself when he said he had them. If not it would change the price in my favor a bit, but we did settle on $1800. I could have done better but I know the 92 alone is worth that and the K3 is not far behind. It will be at least a few days before we get back together to seal the deal. I'll have to take them straight to storage but I'll get some cell phone pics of them to post up. I'm gonna have to decide what bikes I want to keep, and then sell a few off for sure, it's gettin ridiculous around here. I want to keep them all but I fear the little wifey is going to kill me.

Yeah pics would be nice to see, i'm in Canada so shipping a bike down here from Michigan would be alot of $$$ that's too bad. Keep us updated when you get more info and pictures curious to see exactly what you scored on these.
Thanks for the info always curious to see what's out there on those barns!

Titles for the 93 and the 74, Keys for the 71 and 74, LOL No keys for the 93, he says he has them and just need to find them. There are no numbers on any of the lock cylinders and I need a key to get under the seat to get to the ignition etc. I'm hopeful he will find them but I'm not going to count on it. I'll call the honda shop and see what they say about it, maybe with the vin they can look up a key code for a 93??
