What did you do to your CT70 today

What did I do Sunday? Looked longingly at my 3 CT70's and my CT90 in the garage and wished it was about 20 degrees warmer for riding comfortably. The snow is all gone here (we had over 10 inches on the ground for over 2 months previously), but spring is slow to arrive.

I took out my '94 today and when I was a block away from the house I looked down at the odometer. Happy Independence Day!

See below.

I reinstalled my newish Takegawa replacement clutch, refit cover + stand + levers, added oil and went for my very first vintage-bike meet up. As expected, the ST70 was the smallest bike attending. As hoped for, people were taking pictures and asking questions.
Back in 1973, a total of 3000 ST50's were sold as 20 mph mopeds in Denmark. To my knowledge, no more than 5 of the 3000 have been converted into motorcycles. And only one has been registered on period-specific plates.
This one.

Edit: I've taken racerx's good advice and replaced the OE countersunk oil-spinner bolts with A2 steel allen-key replacements. A pack of 10 (ebay item 111309615915, length 10mm) cost me approximately 2 USD. It's now so much easier to clean the oil spinner.

Finally dragged my main rider out of storage, then stole an afternoon for the first ride of 2017...a 65-miler through SE Genesee county, MI. At the RH side of the frame is our own kirrbby. 85F, sunny, nice scenery and a capable rider to help hog a lane of traffic. What's not to like?:red70: I'll post video of the ride...someday.

My beater 93 CT hadn't been running well and I was determined to make it right before I had to put it away for the winter.
Cleaned the carb...again, no help. Well I had a cheapie air cleaner on there because I had to order up a element for the stock air box...I spose it was getting too much air. I'd received the new element long ago, put the stock airbox together and installed it... voila...cured. tweaked the needle clip back up a couple notches and went for a ride...voila...flat tire, lol. Patched the tube and put a used trailwing on the rear... another ride.
Now she's rough and ready for action, just in time for hibernation. One down...

Thanks! The one in the foreground is the new (old?) one. All original except the battery and headlight (which actually came boxed with it). Title, Sales Receipt, Honda owner's card, one owner since March '79... Lucky swipe. Having fun playing "Where's Waldo" with the restored one. (By others.). This one's alllll mine!

I started one of these threads on another forum i frequent and it works pretty well. Works good for sharing those little things we do to or with our lil' Honda's that isn't necessarily worth a whole new thread.

So, feel free to post up with a pic or lil' story about what you did with your CT70 :red70:

I got my CT70 started today, it was awesome.

I received my First of many to come OEM replacement part. Replaced carb float, adjusted to proper height, reassembled carb......no more leaks or flooding out while riding.
Terrorised the neighborhood the rest of the day!

To specifically answer the thread question, nothing. But I did paint the gas tank and fabed-up battery cover for my second S90 build.

was going to make a bank run the other day and about 5 blocks from my house i jerked the bike in first and then tired to run it and nothing. WALKED it back home and began to get into it. chain jumped off rear sprocket. found tensioner had slipped. just got the bike and saw chain was a bit loose but never tightened it... hahaha well redid everything and put everything back with a little more tension on the chain and we're off again. took her out a couple times just on the block to she if the chain will stay put and so far so good.
