Z50 Throttle Cable for Mikuni 19mm

Does anybody know if there is a throttle cable available that works with the stock Z50 throttle assembly and a Mikuni 19mm with an angled end at the slider/cap end?

Have you tried the stock Z50 cable?? It might work as is. I would suggest asking dratv, nevc, or maybe Tbolt. Just email them.

Thanks Kirrbby. I will check with those guys. I bought the Piranha 90cc kit and a lot of the parts from TBolt. TBolt said I would need (and sold me) a billet throttle and a new 19mm to make the 19mm carb work. Although the billet throttle works, it just looks out of place on a hardtail.

If your handlebars incorporate the same internal throttle assembly used on the CT70s, there's enough travel to work with up to a 22mm carb no mods required. The cable may be another story...inner cable stick-out length. That can be altered. If it's too short, a coil or two of outer sheathing can be clipped. If it's too long, then one of the end ferrules will need to be replaced, after cutting the inner cable to the desired length.

Best place to begin...install the carb, twist grip throttle assembly and cable and see if the slide will go from closed to fully-open.
