Nice bike, but Rim Road 300 would eat it alive, LOL... :13:

Think BAD-@$$ SHOCKS on that rig, frame sections hacked out like machete limbs in revolutionary Africa, LOL... :43:

But it COULD be done, LOL... :3:

Damn, I'm havin' TOO MUCH FUN here, time to mix another Bloody Mary with the goddam Stoli's, "10-DASH-MOTHERF#%G-FO'???" :4:

Is anyone getting in on this raffle? I was at CHP last year when they were restoring this bike, and it is beautiful! Only about 170 tickets left, out of 2000.

Got my tickets in the mail the other day.
My hats off to CHP for putting this together. I'll feel like a winner either way...but I hope I'm the winner :)

I love this trike it is the best I have seen by far !

I'm surprised this trike didn't sell. I expected to see one last minute bid...maybe yours bcuda :)
I'll be watching for it to relist...but I'm betting someone will strike a side deal with the seller. I think it's got some folks considering building one themselves too...maybe you bcuda :cheer2:

Neat story, heel toe shifter, probably for desert riding. Wonder why cut the O out of honda on the main decal on both sides? Does the right foot peg looks like it sticks out a long ways? Kick stand is odd also.

Wonder why no picture of the motor numbers. Thought the serial number stamping was at an odd angle also but I've seen others around that weren't real straight. This one just appears to be curved. If it's legit it would be a great bike to do a full resto on. Will be watching this one.

The heel-toe shifter was likely lifted from the Honda Cub parts bin. IMHO...they all should have been so equipped, the ST70 Dax versions were. There were multiple versions of the K0 tank decal, most were multi-part construction. Some even had a base layer of silver Mylar(!). My guess is that this set was another item appropriated from the parts bin of another model. Consider that they used the Z50 flywheel cover on the earliest silver tags and it seems perfectly logical.

As for the footrests & kickstand, probably from another model, too. I've seen that kickstand and the longer footrests at more than one swap meet over the years. The most curious discrepancy, imo, is the LH peg...looks like it's been scraped-down to half it's original thickness. Hafta wonder how that could have happened in so few miles...or if these are original to the bike.
