X2 OLDCT. Even though it would be hard to see from a distance, '69-'71 HK0 decals would really top off such a nice bike.

Took this shot New Years Eve when we had the bikes with us at the lake for a camp trip.

Some SUPER nice little bikes in these pictures. Darth Vader Especially (not to knock the others). I love the number of bikes that live indoors... not in the garage i mean. if mine were that nice, i'd have it indoors too. i don't know how that would play with the ladies though... These pictures are more landscape shots than ct70 shots...

I recently acquired my first motorcycle from my dad as he is in the process of moving. I believe it is a '72 CT70 K1. I learned to ride on this thing around 23 years ago. I've tried to buy it from him numerous times before with no luck. Hopefully it is home to stay here with me, but not quite sure yet, lol. He said it hasn't run in over ten years. So I stopped at the local Honda dealer for carb gaskets, needle/seat set, and an intake gasket. If all goes well I will be riding it tonight. We also used to have a 71, but that got sold about 13 years ago.

This is my K-4. I worked on it last fall and winter. Sandblasted to bare metal primed with 2 part epoxy primer. The paint is a Dodge lime green which when mixed I had them add a corse metallic instead of a fine blend.
I replaced the seat, tires, bars, cables etc.
the engine is an 88 bbk with race head, NHRC pipe and Mikuni vm20 carb running a 135 main jet, 25 pilot and 4j6 jet needle. Sprockets are 16t front and 35 rear. Top speed to date is 51.86 mph according to GPS.
Over this winter the engine will come out again and have a stroker crank installed.

I also have a 69 Z50A-K1, 1976 CT70, 1980CT70, 1979XL100s, 1985 TRX125, 1985 Suzuki LT250 and a 1985 Suzuki LT50

IMO, you should patent that color. Call it BBG(Bitchin Beautiful Green)LOL.

Would love to see a new Challenger or vintage Mopar muscle in that color. The new Challenger would not be on the showroom floor for very long.

Thank. I get a lot of people asking me about the paint. I like it when I can do all the work myself. It is much more satisfying. Plus if it doesn't look good I'm not out of pocket too much $$$. Just a bit of time.

Here's the rest of my minis. The pink metallic 76 is the third bike I re-did. It got the same treatment as my green K-5. Sandblasted, two part epoxy primer and 3 coats of Fiat pink with a heavy metallic in the third coat as well as metallic in the first two coats of clear and then a final coat of just clear. I installed new bars, seat, tires, tubes, lights, cables, suspension, cylinder and piston etc. the bike runs good but has only been ridden a handful of times

The Tahitian red 1980 was the second bike I worked on. I didn't sandblast it as I was going to sell it. After riding it a couple of times it was claimed by my wife. When I got it, the frame was cracked from being run with a seized shock on one side and a shock from a car on the other side. It had been abused as I later found out from its lack of wanting to shift that the mounting boss for the shift star had broken off. Once welded back on it shifts flawlessly. This is by far the smoothest of the bikes to ride due to the better suspension. No engine work other than what I have already mentioned. Only cosmetic.

The first bike I did and still my favourite is a 69Z50A-k1. This was sandblasted, gas tank welded and sealed all new wiring, lights etc.mu9u7una.jpg

Here is a before pic (2/12) and present day pics of my 69' CT-70. Now considered a resto/mod, I am told.
My dad gave me this bike back in 76', on my 8th b-day. It had 16,357 miles on it when I started the restoration project in early 2012. It was still running, just had to be pushed or pulled to start it. Almost of the teeth on kick shaft were gone. Lol.
After countless hours of work she looks better than ever. And special thanks to Darrel Gunderson she runs like never before!

This one is great for mellow trails and the occasional beer or parts run.
88cc w/ RH is all it needs to keep up with traffic

I did some re-arranging in the "dungeon" and have most of my bikes hanging out together now. Thought you all might enjoy some pics
