bringing z50's to mid ohio

My brother and I will be attending friday night through sunday. We'll be on yellow and blue k2's and we are looking forward to meeting other lil honda types. I hope to meet fatcat before he leaves on friday.

I'm going, my buddy from out of town is coming in. I'd like to rock minis there but I only have one running. Looks like ill be pulling my wife's childhood wagon behind me instead.

I'll be there again tomorrow. If you know where Lee is who has all the CT70 stuff on the fence row, go out of the fence right by him and our trailer will be there, open with a blue canopy. Beer will be cold. Bob (racerx) stopped by today.

I looked also and did not see either of you. I parked by the fencerow along where all the ct70 stuff was... Probably rode right by fatcaaat lol. I planned on being there longer but with the father in laws Cushman giving us fits and the sudden downfalls we headed home.

The weather did get a little boisterous yesterday, but only for a few minutes. It brought some welcomed, if short-lived, relief from the reptile-house-like heat. Less mud, far fewer bikes being ridden through the swap meet area and a smaller crowd than I've seen in many years, made for a pleasant & relaxed event. Maybe the high ticket prices are keeping out the riffraff...though the fact that I was there kinda undermines that theory. Unfortunately, a lot of familiar exhibitors were conspicuous by their absence, also.

Lots of CTs being ridden around, more nice examples than usual. The numbers of Z50 & CT90/110s swapped places on the "most commonly seen" list, with far less of the former and more of the latter.

Looks like the weather is hammering the Saturday crowd:rain:

Was there all day today. Rough weather on and off from 9-2 but then the skies cleared and the people came. Sold out all my CT70 and Z50 stuff...so did my buddy mike. All I have left are aftermarket goodies at this point. Great day today!

If you're there tomorrow, there is a honda ct110 with 495 original miles on it on the last row corner headed away from everything. We had him to 1200 but really wanted to go 1100 and he didn't budge off that 1200. Had an Ohio title too. Well worth it IMO. He still had it as of 9pm tonight, so could be ripe for the picking tomorrow. It was very cherry.

The $40.00 daily pass turned me off and the bad weather sealed the deal. Perhaps in the future, if the ticket prices are lowered, you might see me there.

My buddy and I went on Saturday, it was a rainy mess. Got some ct70 parts I was looking for and scored a nice 69 z50 carb. My buddy bought a complete st90 73' for $175. There was not a lot there in the way of mini trail parts.

I was there last year and had a great time. I have a weekend camping pass and was wondering if I could get into the venue thursday night? I heard a lot of good deals were had on friday. Anybody go early? Any info appreciated.
