I can't find a way to post it either. I can't even upload it to my YouTube...it goes to 95% processed, then stays there and never goes any farther.??
I think maybe sometime I can borrow someone's smartphone and make an uploadable vid. I like the phone I have because its extremely tough and waterproof. All my others kept getting killed somehow. I guess I could go by a US Cellular store and see if they have an upgraded version or something similar. Its around 5years old now.lol
Thanks for trying anyways kirrbby

It is overbored, fully broke in, I weigh about 160, stock carb has #60 main(stock is 58), needle clip is 2nd from bottom, NGK6 plug, pure 87, new points @.016, 14/35(overgeared), 30psi in the tires, valves .002in and .003ex, I also had my head way down.lol

On a flat, no wind, ect., it consistently will top out at 48, but no more. Its when I put my head way down, it creeped to 50. It was a struggle for it. I don't think I will push it that hard anymore. I usually pamper this bike and its very well maintained.

For its first 800miles or so, I never held it at constant speeds, monitored its temps for the first 600 with short trips, and changed the oil religiously every time it started to get dark and no more than 250miles.
The last oil change, I added about a shot glass of Prolong. It lowered the temps just a little and didnt effect the clutch.

Cool video, that’s as good as it gets for stock. Hats off to you!
Wish it didn't have so much noise. Some is wind, but for some reason, the phone really picks up the rattle resonance of the exhaust guard. Dont even hear it when your on the bike.

Camera audio picks up all kindsa weird noises you never noticed before. It can also add/create evrn weirder sounds, not made by the bike. If one can discern which is which, it can be a very useful tool. Things like stiff chain links can be heard much more easily & clearly this way...early enough to prevent problems

I never thought of using that as a tool. I would guess, with a high quality microphone and high quality playback system, it would be a great tool.

IDK that mic quality is a big issue. The internal microphone of any GoPro is all I've used in recent years and it's been good enough. Wind noise changes the playing field and they (GoPro) has done a good job with that.

A chain with arthritis will be heard as varying engine pitch, with a consistent beat frequency/pulsation rate. It's otherwise very difficult to notice at road speed, with all of the normal wind & mechanical mayhem, that is motorcycling, going on around you.

OTOH, I once heard what sounded like spark knock, but at the wrong frequency for the engine rpm. That one turned out to be the camera mount rattling in the wind...I learned why those silicone thingies are included with camera mounts.

Those are just two examples that come to mind. There are many other riders here, with their own experiences.

I think its time that I get one of those GoPro's. Maybe THEN I can figure out how to upload vids.lol
Dont know if the uploads will work on a Windows 7 laptop though.

Yo Kirrbby!!!
3 years already! Man time flies. I would love to see a pic of Miss Sharon. Maybe post a re-creation of the one above when you get your bike back. I hope she is happy and healthy. She's gonna need a CT70 of her own pretty quick.

Yeah, a current pic of her on the bike at the same place would be cool.

For some reason that bike seems to have shrank.lol
We loaded it in the truck today, went to my brothers house, and went ridding on the backroads like we used too when she was little. Maybe 20miles. She's grown so much, that she rides on the back now instead of the front.lol. She still loves it.
I had thought about teaching her to drive this one, but thought it would help her learn better with it converted to a semi auto first. Its been a long time since she drove her little K2 Z50. I only had her for a few hours today and had to take the day off to get some other things done too. It was great ridding with her again. I'm so glad that I had kept those original buddy pegs it came with on it.

Attention MIB!!!

Let my oldest brother take this bike out in the country yesterday. I was worried about it.....to say the least. He was gone for a few hours. He came back and said, "This thing runs like a f%$&ing sewing machine!!!! Top speed I averaged 45-48. Now I know why you keep it in the living room. ".

She is currently in my living room reading 2397.5. I didnt want to say, but ai was laid off in july. I really really REALLY dont want to sell this bke. I not only have kids , but a mom and grandmother that I care for very much too. My mom said not to sell it, because I would be heartbroken.......Im on the fence
