Yesterday they break out the CASE machinery front loader (?) and storm troop toward my backyard 's lot and make this trench.
Having no Rocket launcher (RPG) to be found in my arsenal, I brake out the Kodak pixpro.

I'm no expert but that looks to me like they are gonna put in a sidewalk around my casa... Or it could be another mass grave. Right across the street there, they will start building houses.(n)

Yep! They build too many homes too close to each other, this is the building trend now, I Shutter to think what they'll be like In 50 years.
Lol! Soilent-Green to order i bet :ROFLMAO::sick::censored:

Here's the other side, i think the dozer was used to level that back lot and this other guy had a stamping machine that made this. They get pissed off if you watch them work so it seems, lol:mad: so I'm not exactly sure, i just come back and check it out.

Hey SportFans... First off --->ahem; the ' North Star' pic is actually Jupiter ! lol  You can see it best tonight!
It's cloudy here but later I'll try and get a decent pic of Jupiter with the tri-pod..

On the CT70 front, I got the cafe seat and its cool but is actually slightly wide in the front. I stuck it on the 77 bike. Ended up using the Vietnam seat I had custom made a few years back. I'll b able to transfer the locking assembly as bolt on it looks like! The stock seat has a Tool kit in it and that may explain why its so boxy.

I'm also gonna switch out the rear shocks, I'll take the ones off the 77 restomod ,. those stock ones bottom out on the Dam street! I lost the bolt off the chain guard :eek:They are bigger crap off-road, so, will shelf those. Here's the seat I had custom made. with Stripes and cafe hump i requested through email. Afterward he said it was a popular selling seat for him.

IMHO, from that camera angle it looks pretty good on your bike.

FYI, the toolkit was relocated on the 12v bikes to accommodate the bigger & re-positioned battery + revised seat latch setup.

If you have to choose between overly-soft shocks that bottom-out easily and overly stiff, the latter is the safer choice. Your shock mounts will thank you...and be more likely to live long enough for that to happen.

Just took a test ride with the new modern shocks! You can see the comparison size. Nice, smooth and steady; no more slamming the hard deck.
Feels safer with better control...:red70:

On the Backyard construction front: They built a pond of water where they are getting ready to build a house. never seen that one before:eek:. They want to check for leaks is my guess ! or could be a drowning pool:devilish: need some way to fill the mass graves...

Maybe it's a skeeter breeding pond, LOL. Nice improvement to the suspension, looks good too... thanks for the "heads up" article on astronomy, no pun intended, LOL. I love lying in my hammock after a few beers and gazing at the night sky, it is spectacular here...

Yep, not sure whats up with that?, gotta be for a cement foundation set-up. I'll be watching it. Now we got a pool and a pond, lol :D Maybe Bill Murray will take a dip in it.

Yep, the stars here in the high desert remind me of a planetarium without the dome! Carl Sagan said "there are billions and billions of stars in the universe". He was dam right! Seeing is believing.

On the bike:red70: , I'm happy the mods are delivering performance without affecting aesthetics that much, its turning into a cool lil cruising machine. So much of a joy to cruise it out here than in the city.

So talked with 'Bill' the construction guy about the pond. Good guy, kinda looks like wild Bill! Anyway he said they 'flood the pad'.

They fill the area with water, that raises/mixes the soil and when it settles, the dirt gets packed more uniformly ( homogeneous in scientific lingo) creating a strong predictable settlement and is the base for the cement foundation.
They are working In the front, they are finishing stamping the sidewalk, here's that stamping machine , sounds like a helicopter. They work fast too.(y)

Working out front:

Stamping or tamping. I think they are tamping that sand, sidewalk base. That machine runs like a giant...Tim Taylor vibrator (massager if you prefer). Running one for too long will drive you insane.

Here is an idea of the scope of construction on Mt. Falls new work, this is just across the street of my casa to the west. They will build this street on down...looks to be a lot of new homes coming, its fun to cruise the ct70 around there before they are built.:red70:

Was nice and sunny for a bit so i took a quick ride in the construction zone and ended up laying the bike down! Going around a left turn, trying to avoid some mud, no biggie but the front & rear blinker got tweaked, some more! Had my helmet on but landed on my ribs... lol that's what ribs are for dont you know?
Gonna be sore tomorrow probably but the good news is the engine never quit, (y) She's a trooper, I just got back on and drove home. First time I ever laid this bike down....:red70:
